Recombination rates. For each CGF we computed the recombination rate γand the box and whisker plot shows its distribution for each of the colored clusters in Figure 3, where the blue and cyan group has been merged into a big blue cluster. For each box the central line is the median, the box covers the interquartile range of the data, the whiskers cover the most extreme data points no more than 1.5 times the box width from the box edges and any data points more extreme than this are shown as individual circles.
