Phylogentic tree for DUF164 domain proteins. The figure presents a modified phylogenetic tree downloaded from Pfam (http://pfam.sanger.ac.uk/family?acc=PF02591). The tree was generated from an alignment of 93 seed DUF164 sequences using the FastTree algorithm [42]. Taxonomic groups for the bacterial species are color-coded. The numbers of stars indicate the number of cysteine residues in the conserved CXXC motifs that are replaced with other amino acid residues.
